- The are located approximately 600 miles southeast of Miami, Florida, USA
- How do I get there?
- The most convenient and economical route to the Turks and Caicos Islands is via American Airlines, which maintains two daily flights into Providenciales ("Provo") from Miami. After arrival on the island of Provo, the 'hop' over to North Caicos Island, where La Villa Rose is located, is only a five-to-ten minute flight by two-engine plane.
- What about my safety?
- You are probably much safer on North Caicos than in your own home... crime is almost nonexistent.
- What activities may I enjoy on North Caicos?
- The first thing to do is relax! You will find La Villa Rose most comfortable, clean and safe. Snorkeling, swimming, touring the island, fishing, diving, bicycling and dining in local restaurants all add to the charm of North Caicos.
- What are the towns on the island of North Caicos and what is the population?
- North Caicos has four major settlements: Bottle Creek, Kew, Sandy Point and Whitby. The population is estimated to be approximately 1500 residents.
- How do I get around on North Caicos?
- Local car rental is available, but is a bit costly (about US$50 per day). Taxis provide routine transportation, plus some day trips. A 90cc Honda Motor Scooter (see photos) is available to our guests at no additional charge. Motor scooter drivers must be at least 24 years of age and must sign an insurance waiver.
