WELCOME TO THE RADIO SOCIETY OF OKINAWA (RSO) WEBSITE
*******************Under CONSTRUCTION********************
The Radio Society of Okinawa (RSO), is an informal group of primarily HAMS local to Okinawa and includes former HAMS that are now living and stationed all over the world. Due to many very recent retirements, transfers and/or reassignments, RSO membership and regular participation is not currently very active. Although a few local Okinawa HAMS keep in touch, the weekly Saturday "Eye-ball" Breakfasts and Sunday Nets are presently not active and on-hold. When on-island, the following 2 meter frequency is good to program:
145.660 with an Encode/Decode PL of 71.9.
Presently, RSO Echolink nodes are not on-line. Additional updates to follow as RSO Echolink Nodes return on-line; however, JS6RVL (Shelly and JS6RVK (Scott)) host a Low-Profile/Low-Power IRLP Node (WIN System Affliliate) near Camp Foster on 438.500, PL 100.0.
