Have Come up with a better Shunt coil.....

Just FYI, its seems that 6 turns of good heavy magnet wire or some heavy #12 or so, in a 1 3/4" inch wrap works even better on my screwdriver to get 80 and 40 in line......spread it out after winding it tight to about 1/4" and then go back and forth between 80 and 40 till you get an equal SWR, usually about 1.3 or so on both bands..... no taps neccessary as long as you can keep it 1.3 or 1.4. Lot easier to build too......Wind it tight and then spread it out evenly to about 2.5 inches wide. Simple enough..Gettin real hot out here in West Texas....and Global Quarming seems to be the thing on 7.249 where we hang in the Daytime. Another group in Texas has moved to 7.250, what an idiot move. 49 stays hot all day when the band is open. Right now its hit or miss. Will be glad for this cycle to end and start back up.
