TUNING UPGRADERS
These popular devices add a new 'geared-down' fine-tuning rate to your radio's tuning knob (2.5 kHz per revolution instead of the stock 10 kHz per revolution). This new slow-tuning speed is active only when you are tuning at slow rate (one turn per second or slower). Whenever you are turning the knob faster, the Tuning Upgrader will automatically 'Shift' your radio into higher tuning rates to allow rapid QSY! All Tuning Upgraders feature easy plug-in installation, except for the TS-930s and TS-440s/R-5000 models which require a small amount of soldering.

TUNING UPGRADERS FOR YAESU RADIOS
Performs as described above. In addition, if you spin the tuning knob rapidly, the Tuning Upgrader will briefly shift your Yaesu radio into a new high-speed (25 kHz per revolution) mode for rapid QSY across a band. This means that the Yaesu version of the Tuning Upgrader provides three automatically-selected tuning speeds! (2.5, 10 and 25 kHz per revolution.)

The Tuning Upgrader installs easily in any Yaesu FT-1000 model (except for the FT-1000MP) as well as the FT-990. All connections simply plug-in. There are no boards to lift and nothing to solder. Thorough, illustrated instructions are provided. Most customers tell us that installation only took them an hour or two. For the FT-1000, there is one Tuning Upgrader model available for the main receiver tuning and one model available for the sub receiver. They are priced at $54.95 each

MONI-MODULE for TS-570 Series
We now offer a monitor module especially developed for the TS-570 series which provides a transmit monitor function as described in the Moni-Module description above. This device is very important to have in your TS-570 model as this series of radios feature an important and extensive array of user-configurable menu settings governing transmit audio response and speech processor operation, yet provides you with no ability to hear how these setting affect your transmitted audio. With our Monitor Module installed, you will be able to hear how these settings affect your transmitted audio, even while you are changing them!
