Amateur radio is open for all country peoples by MPTC.(Ministry of Post Telecommunications of Cambodia.)
Your Call sign will be XU7*** ( from XU7AAA～XU7ZZZ)
# Condition for radio.
* All modes.
* All HF Bands
* Power ： 100W (Max Power in XU)
* Only Fixed station license.( If you need move to island for IOTA, you need two independence license
mainland and island )
1st One year license fee : $50 (It is not easy to send money to MPTC, you should ask [How to send?] to
your City Post office or Bank) or Register mail.
2nd year : $40.

To DXer who need XU radio license.
Please check the file that you are
requiring and then fulfill some blank
space in it. If you have any problems do not hesitate to contact Mr Hiroo (XU7AAA)
again about the Radio equipment.
There are 5 points, you should be obey:
1- An application form of MPTC
2- Latest of amateur license and do confirm it by amateur
authority in
your country.
3- Validity of your passport
4- Radio Technical specification in use
5- Other documents which related to the radio station

XU radio law: One license permitted one transciver,
If you want to use two transciver or more, you must need
two or more licenses for each transmitter.
If you have some questions about license,
Please contact Mr.Lim of MPTC.
# Ｃａｍｂｏｄｉａ need one Transmitter one license, so if you need Two
Transcriber, you need independence two license.
They will coming for inspection to your shack.
Mr.Lim (Deputy Chief Frequency Licenser ) will help for

IOTA Pedition information
Cambodia has only one IOTA number,
Koh(Island) Poah is countable for IOTA AS-133,
IN XU, Only Fixed license NO portable license.
So that, You need independence
Island QTH license in Cambodia.
Koh Poah island is only 10 mints $5 by boat from Victory beach,
and １5 minutes from DX shack.
